Leadership Residency

Our twelve-month Leadership Residency is designed to help prepare aspiring pastoral leaders, elders and music ministers for service in God's house. Residents experience a year devoted to Christ in worship, prayer, study of scripture and hands on volunteer service as a church planting team under the guidance of Pastor David, Carolyn, and other godly leaders. In pursuit of God's high calling these disciples will mature in spiritual wisdom, godliness and competence in the skills and gifts related to their calling. Our residency serves as a bridge between studies in the classroom and a life of service on a ministry platform. Some residents will remain in WNY to serve in the church they helped plant while others will follow the Lord of the Harvest to serve Him in whatever field or vineyard, He calls them to labor in. Secondarily, residents will develop skills in hospitality services, hotel management, culinary arts, marketing, property maintenance or building trades as part time employees of River Spring Lodge.
