We believe there is One Immortal Sovereign God, without beginning and without end. Isaiah. 44:6
We believe by His Word alone God created the heavens and the earth, all things visible and invisible. We believe, although God is omnipresent and intricately involved in His creation, He existed before, exists above, exists beyond, and exists entirely separate from all created things. Genesis 1:1-31
We joyfully embrace the mystery of the trinitarian view of God seen in scripture. We believe the Triunity of the Godhead consists of three equal persons Who are distinct in function that share One Divine Essence, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19
We believe the Genesis account of the fall of man that plagued Adam’s entire lost race with a fallen human nature. We believe all are lost and without hope in the world apart from the redeeming mercies of Jesus Christ. Genesis 3:1-3:24, Romans 3:23, 6:23, Ephesians 2:3
We believe Jesus was eternally God and remained fully God after He took on human nature. John 1:1, John 1:14, John 5:8, Colossians 2:9. We believe God’s Son was miraculously conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit in the virgin womb of Mary. Matthew 1:18-25
We believe Jesus was born without sin and lived a life fully obedient to the will of His Father. Philippians 2:5-11, Hebrews 10:7, Hebrews 4:14-16, Luke 22:42
We believe in the core biblical foundation of authentic Christianity which is the penal substitution of Jesus at Calvary to rescue the fallen human race from the consequence of sin which is eternal separation from God. Isaiah 53:1-12, 1 John 2:2, 1st Peter 3:18, 2nd Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 3:13
We believe redemption is only found through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus to the right hand of the Father where He ever lives to make intercession for us. Acts 4:12, John 14:6, John 3:16
We believe only genuine repentance (turning away from sin) leads to authentic salvation from sin. In regeneration souls are saved from sin’s guilt, penalty, and power by grace alone, through faith alone in the sacrifice of Christ alone. Luke 24:44-48, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 2:8-9
We believe we are saved by the redemptive accomplishment of Christ alone. Even though our good works are never the cause of our salvation, we believe good works always follow the conversion of true believers as the evidence of their salvation. Ephesians 2:8-10, James 2:14-24
We believe in keeping the Lord’s Day holy so we gather each Sunday morning to Worship, hear the exposition of Holy Scripture, and celebrate The Lord’s Table. Exodus 20:8-11, Hebrews 10:25
We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as prophesied in the Old Testament, promised by Jesus in the gospels, poured out at Pentecost, demonstrated in the Acts, and taught in the epistles. Upon these biblical foundations we welcome the Holy Spirit to work among us and within us. By these scriptural foundations of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit we judge prophecy, test the spirits, and reject any teachings that restrain, hinder, contradict, or go above or beyond the biblical revelation of the Holy Spirit. John 14:15-26
We believe in the literal, physical return of Jesus to the earth to judge the living and the dead. John 5:25-29, 2nd Timothy 4:1-4
We believe the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Romans 6:16, 23
We believe the great commission is a universal call to all of God’s children which requires a genuine commitment to serve in a local church. “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20, Hebrews 8:25
We are charitable, not contentious over non essentials. We are too busy obeying essential truths to debate with those who have views that differ from our views on non-essentials.
