Carolyn and I have a network of truly amazing musicians. These gifted artists shine brightly on the stage without props, smoke, or hype. The Spring at River Spring Lodge is a welcoming listening room for deserving artists that take joy in performing up close and personal, where they can perform their music just as it was written…from the heart. We hope you will come out in support of charities that serve the families of WNY while enjoying these incredible evenings of live music in our lobby. In lieu of selling tickets we ask for a minimum donation of $10. Call now to reserve your seats. 585.708.4212

June 28th Singer-Songwriter Ian Flanigan

“MEET YOUR NEW PROGRESSIVE FOLK GUITAR HERO” -A&R Factory

Best of the Hudson Valley 2019 Best Vocalist and Best Artist

Songwriter Universe’s Best Song of the Month Finalist

Ian Flanigan “inspires a nostalgic sentiment akin to wistful escapism… emotional without being weepy, vulnerable without being pitiful, and conceptual while still remaining relatable” (Gallagher, SUNY editorial).

Flanigan’s sound—an eclectic blend of progressive folk-pop and percussive finger-style—is reminiscent of the road less traveled, paved with poignant lyrical truths of his past.

Flanigan’s smoky barroom voice provides contrast to the melodic plea he unleashes with an urgency. Overall, Flanigan offers the kind of optimism that is hard-won after losing on the kind of bets that alter the trajectory of a life—bets you make on yourself, bets you make on others, bets that fail to deliver more often than they come through” (John Barry, Poughkeepsie Journal).

Sunday September 20, 2020 West Coast Country Folk Singer-Songwriter Dan Weber

Photo of man with guitar This incredible artist performed at River Spring last summer during our charity lawn concert series. As soon as he finished his set and put down his guitar I asked him when he could come back. He is not only a great entertainer but Carolyn and I enjoyed hanging out with him before he left. Trust me. You do not want to miss this show. David Check out Dan’s promotional video here

“Dan is a GREAT storyteller, one of the best! He’s insightful, open and honest with emotions, and awfully funny. He wowed our audience with his stories and songs and made a real and deep connection with every person in the room. He’s also a very thoughtful house guest, a pleasure to host. We look forward to welcoming him back!” – C. Wood

Dan’s performance was riveting. He is a master storyteller with a great sense of humor. His writing is precise, concise and poetic with influences of Robert Earl Keen and Guy Clark. We would have him back any time!” – C Bernhardt

Fall 2020 TBD Nashville’s My One and Only “Southern-Soul and Curious-Grit”

Emotionally-honest lyrics accompanied by raw vintage guitars and the intimate harmonies that only life-long lovers could discover. My One And Only reaches into the expanses of their hearts to bring up lyrics that will cause you to wonder if they have been reading your diary. Not only have they toured throughout America, but My One And Only has done two tours in Uganda, Africa, working in conjunction with a ministry there to produce youth conferences that incorporate music concerts, Bible teaching sessions and youth training. Their heart for broken families and orphaned children comes to light in their songwriting and in their between-song stories during live performances.
